Service Description

A two day climbing adventure for Youth 15-19 in the David Thompson Corridor, Alberta. Lead by ACMG Rock Guide, Dan Geddes whose climbing career started in the corridor, this trip will cater to all adventure seekers who are interested in developing their climbing technique and skills in new terrain. Over the two days, our youth participants will be coached through a crag based sport climbing lesson in preparation for a multi-pitch climb the following day. The trip involves an overnight camping experience and a chance to practice objective-setting, planning and communication, packing gear, efficiency and environmental stewardship. The Dirtbag Corporation will provide all climbing gear required for the trip. Youth are welcome to use their personal gear. A detailed schedule and kit list will be sent to participants ahead of time. Prerequisites: Youth must be aged 12+ and have previously participated in Dirtbag Corporation programs
