Lead locally by ACMG Rock Guide, Dan Geddes and ACMG Top Rope Climbing Instructors.

This six week program will nurture a positive transition from gym to outdoor climbing and encourage an intrinsic connection and respect for the environment we recreate within.

Participants will develop skills to help them navigate rock climbing terrain as well as explore further movement skills and mental coaching. Youth can expect to discover and work on climbing projects, be introduced to new gear and systems and most importantly, have a whole lot of fun!
Immersion Camp Ages 12+
Join us for an exhilarating four day climbing adventure!

Our immersion camp is an introduction to our leadership development program. Youth 12 and up will be given the opportunity to improve their technical rock climbing and movement skills. In addition to their skill development, there will be a focus on leadership, teaching methods, camping and environmental stewardship.

The course will include one day in town, one day at a local crag, and two days (one overnight) at Spillimacheen. ACMG Rock Guide and camp leader, Dan Geddes is passionate about guiding youth of all levels through a carefully crafted progression of skills. From mastering the basics of climbing technique to tackling more challenging routes, every participant will advance at their own pace, ensuring a fulfilling and rewarding experience.

Immersion Camp focuses on developing strong leadership skills. Through climbing related activities, problem-solving challenges, and interactive discussions, youth will learn to communicate effectively, make decisions under pressure, and inspire others, becoming leaders both on and off the wall.

This program encourages youth to explore the world of guiding and opens up opportunities for volunteer positions assisting The Dirtbag Corporation’s guided activities.
